Kristin and I are in the city that never sleeps for a quick, fun trip - meeting with our fab agent, our favorite editors, and (OF COURSE!) our St. Martin's HoN family. The weather is cool but beautiful. LOVE CENTRAL PARK! XXXOOO PC

Happy New Year!

With the beginning of the new year I've begun HoN book 11, REVEALED! (No, I don't have a publication date for it yet - I won't turn it in until early summer. Then it takes several months to go through the editing/publication process.) Movie update: check my blog archive for the latest. I'll post there. Get ready for lots of news this year! (Again, Kristin and I are not in charge of the casting. You'll need to educate yourself about the business of acting, get an agent, etc. I will post if/when there are open casting calls, though.) And, finally, King Kong and Khaleesi have a new playmate, Miss Grace Kelly. She's exactly their age (6 months old), and she's giving Cammy a break from their puppy playfulness. Cammy says he's too old for such nonsense... Wishing you all the best for 2013! PC

Leaving wonderful Paris!

Kristin and I had an awesome time in Paris, especially at our last event at the Virgin Megastore! We heart Paris! Well, I'm heading into the downward curve of NEFERET'S CURSE and Cammy asked that I give y'all a Cammyview update.  His view has changed because of the addition of King Kong (who is only 4 month old) to the household.  Because of view one and two below, he decided all of his future views would be from above, where Kong has yet to follow...

Help finishing NEFERET'S CURSE!

So, I'm nearing deadline for the last of the novellas, NEFERET'S CURSE, and I thought I'd call in the big dogs for help...literally! This is my three and a half month old American Pit Bull, King Kong. He's helping me on my treddesk (I always write on a treaddesk - see picture below). Wisdom of the House of Night Oracle Cards!

I am so excited about this collaboration between my good friend the intuitive, Colette Baron-Reid, and me! I've been a big fan of Colette's oracle cards for years (I use her Wisdom of Avalon cards often!), and teaming with her to bring to life an oracle for Nyx and the House of Night was fun and interesting. I think we've created a beautiful deck of cards and an oracle that works and is full of positive, loving energy! They come in a box, with an explanatory story and guidelines for using them (it's simple!). Oooh, and check it out! Kristin and I both got to have cards based on us! The WISDOM OF THE HOUSE OF NIGHT ORACLE CARDS will be available October 2nd, and should be everywhere (Amazon, B&N, local bookstores, etc.). Kristin and I get a lot of awesome fan mail, and we totally appreciate it - but sometimes we get special stuff. Okay, the crappy picture doesn't do the cool duct tape flowers justice (Kristin took the crappy picture!), but THANK YOU REBECCA from Newark, CA!
