FAB fans! I'm starting a new contest wherein you will name the male teenage vampyre hero in the series that I'm coauthoring with my wonderful daughter! The winner who comes up with the name I use will receive a beautiful Goddess necklace and an autographed copy of the first YA book published.So...what do ya'll think? What's a delicious (but clearly angst-ridden and poetic) teenage vampire name? Let me have it!

Byron. As in Lord Byron. And I must say that the little boy across the street from me has that name and he is a sweetie. This is a child who in kindergarten, purchased a valentine's day flower not for his mother (like every other kindergartener) but for my daughter.
Of course, you could switch letters for Bryon, too.
I also like Matteo.
Do we have a nationality for this hero?

Okay, I think I REALLY like Matteo.
It can be shortened to Matt but oh my...Matteo.
Yum.

Byron and Matteo thus noted Moon! We're not sure of much about the hero yet, just that ou 16 year old heroine thinks he has dreamy eyes.
Tobias? Then you could shorten it to Toby. Or Josiah? Okay, my creative powers are minimal. . .
Goody!

Verryn
Tobias, Josiah, and Verryn duely noted!
Damir, it kinda rolls off your tongue...he he.
Okay, since you are not getting enough feedback to suit me, I am throwing a few names into the ring for consideration:
Kieran
Giovanni (which could be shortened to Vanni)
Stephan
Terri
Thought I'd toss a couple of more names out...
*Erik or Eric which ever spelling you prefer
*Donovan,
*Doran (which means exiled person)*Siobhan-pronounced shi VAWN (not to insult anyone's intelligence, but I needed a pronounciation for this one:P)
Sebastien
Dante
Luc/Lucien
Benjamin
Nicholas/Nick
Trevor
Christian
Okay, those are just a few.
PC - will you names someone evil from a name I suggest?
Here are a few:
Braeden
Sullivan
Tynan
Luther
Sloan
Fabian
Luca
Good luck with your story!
Gabriel
Dylan
Austin
Jesse
Jeremy
These are all in the top 100 for boy names born in 1990, according to the Social Security Administration. I think they all sound dreamy-eyed.
Good luck! Sometimes names are hard to come by, sometimes they just happen.
Thanks for all the names! I'll let you know what we pick, etc.
Jill - OF COURSE, BABY!
Malachi (pronounced Mal-a-kai) but spelled however you want.
I have always loved that name.
Um Jess? Siobhan is a girl's name, though you've got the pronunciation right.
I like Sean and Drake.
Yeah, I figured that out, I thought it was in the list of male/female names I had, but it was just a misplaced female name.
Ooops!
Ooh, what a fun contest!
My picks are Damien, Frederick, Anthony and Logan.
What a very fun series, PC, and so very cool that you and your daughter will be writing it! Congrats on the sale!!
i hope you're still taking names =)
*akin (means the brave one)
*hunter
*azriel
*dane
*tylan
*calhoun
thanks!!
Yes! I am still taking these...my kid and I will let you guys know as soon as we decide!
My husband is such a goober...he asked me if I suggested the name Bob.
Can you imagine Bob the vampire?
Then we ended up on a tangent going back and forth about a vampire with a mullet that hangs out at the bowling alley trying to pick up victims...I laughed my butt off.
