HE HAS A NAME!
He has a name! Please welcome Tiberius to the Cast household. As you can see, he is beautiful AND fearless (and he is 'helping' me write along with my Warrior, who is baffled by how brave Tiberius is). Oh, and for those of you worried about the shepherd and the cat - Badger (my German Shedder) is absolutely not animal aggressive. Eat a person - yep! Eat a dog or cat - no way! Longtime fans may wonder where my Scottie, Cammyman is...well, he doesn't like cats. My giant male, Patchy Poo the Pud, taught him to keep his distance, and even though Patches has been frolicking with the Goddess for four years, Cammyman remembers and prefers to help me write from the other side of my treaddesk! Back to working on my new book! XXXOOO p.s. As I posted this the theme for Star Trek stared playing on my Pandora station! A definite sign Tiberius is the right name!

SIGNED BOOKS IN THE UK!
Well guys, on my way home from Amsterdam I popped over to London to meet with my lovely publishing team (waving at Little, Brown/Atom Books), and to do some research for my new trilogy. Whilst enjoying fab London and the countryside I stopped in several bookstores and signed stock! Sooooo, you can find books signed by me at the following stores: Waterstones on Oxford, Piccadilly, and Trafalgar Square, as well as in the basement of AWESOME Selfridges (who doesn't love Mr. Selfridge!). Also while I was on my way to the Avebury Henge (where I was researching - and having a pint at the Red Lion) I signed books at a wonderful little bookstore in the beautiful village of Malborough called The White Horse Bookshop. That's all I had time for, and I am now on my way home. As always, I love me some UK, and had a great time in London! Hopefully I'll return soon on tour for my new trilogy! XXXOOO PC

Finally chosen by a lovely cat!
A cat finally chose me! I've been catless for several years since the death of the totally awesome Patchy Poo the Pud, who died gallantly at fifteen years old battling a bobcat out at my ranch. I've been waiting and waiting, and FINALLY! Please meet my new boy. He hasn't told me his name yet, but I'll be listening and let you guys know!

Research...research...research...
As you guys know I'm working hard on the first book of my new fantasy trilogy, which means that I'm continually researching (before and during the entire writing process). Well, I just got back from an awesome research trip to WA where I stayed in a treehouse! It was a great experience and perfect research for the series. Check out a few research pictures and here's the link for the resort: http://www.treehousepoint.com

The restaurant tour post!
Hi Guys! I've been meaning to do a restaurant post to shout out to the awesome places Kristin Cast and I ate while we were on tour - so here we go! After some health issues about a year and a half ago my Significant Other and I went on a 40 day Master Cleanse, and then switched to entirely vegan. I stay at least 90% raw, eating only living, plant-based, non-processed foods. ALL of my health problems are gone. ALL of my prescription medications are gone. I'm healthy, in awesome shape, and loving life! For those of you who also live a raw, vegan lifestyle, you know that it can be challenging when you travel. Well, Kristin Cast, who is mostly vegan, and I found some really wonderful restaurants, and we'd like to share them with you! First, in Tulsa the only restaurant that really understands vegan is the lovely Cafe Samana. I just wish they would expand their hours! Whenever I'm in town you can definitely find me there! Next up is the totally fabulous Lov'n It Live not far from the Atlanta, GA airport. I loved loved loved this awesome restaurant!
On to Denver, where I discovered a lovely little restaurant called Nectar House - Raw Vegan Cafe and Elixir Bar, inside a cool yoga studio. If I lived in Denver (a city I adore!) I would definitely frequent this place AND use the yoga studio! And then came Chicago!! I love Chicago. Seriously. So it didn't surprise me to find what I'm going to add to my top 10 favorite restaurants worldwide in that wonderful city! Kristin and I fell in love with Karyn's Raw! Karyn has three restaurants in Chicago, and I'm sure all are delicious, but Kristin and I stuck with the raw restaurant the whole time we were there. And I bought Karyn's cookbooks! And I met Karyn herself - she was gracious and welcoming and beautiful. (We also met the gorgeous Tasha Smith there that night as well. Thank you Tasha for the Uber tip!) A big bunch of awesomesauce happened in yet another of my favorite cities, San Francisco. Kristin and I discovered Samover Tea Lounge. They have great vegan dishes (though it isn't a fully vegan or fully raw restaurant) and absolutely delicious tea! Love love love the Green Ecstasy! Later that night after our wonderful event at the Emeryville Barnes & Noble, we discovered Pause Wine Bar, a fully organic wine bar with a wonderful manager who had great vegan dinner recommendations! Finally, we got to Vancouver, BC (another city I love!), and the fantastic Naam on 4th Street. The music was as great as the food and the atmosphere! Thank you Naam! So, there you have it! My favorite restaurants from the REDEEMED Tour! If you're near any of them, please check them out! Here's to your health and happiness! XXXOOO PCPosted by PC Cast at 3:18 PM 1 comments

Novella order clarification!
As we approach the release of KALONA'S FALL (July 29th) I wanted to be sure you guys know in what order the novellas should be read with the rest of the books because each of them hold an important piece of the HOUSE OF NIGHT story puzzle - especially KALONA'S FALL. So, here is the order in which they should be read: 1) DRAGON'S OATH 2) DESTINED 3) LENOBIA'S VOW 4) HIDDEN 5) NEFERET'S CURSE 6) REVEALED 7) KALONA'S FALL (release date July 29) 8) REDEEMED (release date October 14) I hope you enjoy reading the novellas as much as I've enjoyed writing them. It's been wonderful to delve into the backgrounds of the adult characters. Wishing all the brightest of blessings! PC
