MORE WONDERFUL NEWS!

Kristin and I were thrilled and honored when we were notified this weekend that MARKED is a finalist for the Oklahoma Book Award in the YA/Children's division. It's wonderful to have our home state acknowledge us and appreciate our work. We're going to the lovely award dinner on March 8th in Oklahoma City where they will announce the winner. Keep your fingers crossed for us!

Congrats to you and Kristin! I have all of your books and love them more every time I read them again. It couldn't have happened to a more enchanting writer (or to more enchanting writers.) Picking up Chosen tomorrow. Can't wait. I really can't wait for May!

I just want to say I just finished Chosen and I need more. This isn't even a joke... i'm going through Zoey withdrawl and I might fall over and cry soon. OH! It needs to be fall 2008 now.

Congrats to you and Kristin.

Hi Samantha,
It can't be fall yet - we're not finished writing UNTAMED! But I do understand you impatience...

Red - I deleted your comment because you gave away plot spoilers. And you might like to know I'm a redhead, so I definitely have nothing against them. As to your other comments, Kristin and I made a firm decision when we began writing this series that we would not engage in dialogues where readers snipe at us and expect us to justify our plot and character decisions. Perhaps the House of Night is not the series for you if you find such fault with so much of it. I wish you happy reading elsewhere.
