Yes, it's been TOO DRY in Oklahoma, which means some moron throws a cigarette butt out a truck window and catches half of the state on fire. This time it was my half - wayyyy too close to my ranch for comfort. But Cammy was on duty, howling and helping the firemen. Good job Cammy! (And a big thank you to our wonderful, hardworking firemen!)
Taking a short break from working on HIDDEN to do the rewrite of POSSESSED, a novella (paranormal romance) that I've written for a duology with my good friend Gena Showalter. It'll be out in November. Back to HIDDEN soon!

It is kind of interesting, I just finished reading Brighid's Quest and I come to my computer to see this post. I read about half of it today. Also you seem to be surrounded by wonderful animals, they are very magnificent. I am glad Cammy is such a wonderful animal and that the fire did not get to your ranch.
Vampirehinnata it made me sad being done with Brighid's Quest! I love the Partholon books and now there is no more unless the fabulous author writes another one ;)
I want to write another Partholon book! I love that world. Actually, the novella I just finished the rewrite on tonight is for my Partholon editor. I just have to find the time to write CIARA'S DESTINY! Those are big books, and they take some time to write!

People just don't think sometimes! I'm glad the fire steered clear of your ranch. I just started reading "The Darkest Seduction" by Gena Showalter and noticed you’re mentioned in her acknowledgments! I love that the people I admire the most such as you, Kresley Cole, Gena Showlater and the Fabulous Colette Barron Reid are all associated somehow. You all rock!! Oh, and have you finished the series “A song of Fire and Ice”? It was insanely good. I’m impatiently waiting for the next in the series. I really hope it doesn’t take six years.. Ugh! Happy writing!
Your dog is the cutest thing! My fathers a fireman and it's funny that when it's him driving the truck to a fire my dog always barks! And it always seems to only be when he's driving the truck... Dogs.. gotta love them.

Hi PC, I have a general question about your books. Can two vampires have children? I was just thinking about that after reading the novella about Dragon. Why didnt Dragon and Anastasia have kids? It seems odd that two humans can make vampires but vampires cant.
In the HoN world vampyres can not procreate. Their metabolism is too high - their bodies too hot. And humans don't make vampyres. A biological "accident" mixed with Nyx's magick makes them.
Cammy is super cute. Much cuter than any of the other dogs I have worked with.
