Super Jet Lagged Interviews...

Hey guys! I just stumbled across two short interview I recorded while I was in London last month. Wow. I WAS SO JET LAGGED. Holy bejezzas. I mean, I knew I was tired, but I look and sound like a zombie. And still I'm posting for your amusement! Enjoy!

Today Kristin and I had a blast! Our cool German publisher, Fischer, sent a fab editor, Julia Schade and the mega awesome photographer, Jorg Steinmetz all the way to Tulsa to take author photos of us! The weather was perfect - sunny and in the 60's. Jorg is an incredible photographer. I think he managed to transform us into art! One of my friends was hanging around and she snapped a few pictures of Jorg taking our pictures, and Kristin and me between shots. Check us out! heehees!

Can't wait to see the real pictures Jorg took! We heart Germany!

Update Time!

I'm hard at work on the copy edit of BURNED (it's just another step before the manuscript is actually printed), and I took a break to go outside about sundown. The sky was amazing! Then I saw the moon! Wow! I had to take pics and share with y'all. (Clearly, I'm not in Tulsa right now. T-Town has cool stuff, but WE DON'T HAVE AN OCEAN.)

Oh, and I don't know when my publisher will post chapter one. Hopefully soon! When they give me the green light, I'll post it here, too.

Back to work so you guys can read BURNED on the 27th!

Things have turned black at the House of Night. Zoey Redbird's soul has

Enter BFF Stevie Rae. She wants to help Z but she has massive problems
of her own. The rogue Red Fledglings are acting up, and this time not
even Stevie Rae can protect them from the consequences. Her kinda
boyfriend, Dallas, is sweet but too nosy for his own good. The truth
is, Stevie Rae's hiding a secret that might be the key to getting Zoey
home but also threatens to explode her whole world.

In the middle of the whole mess is Aphrodite: ex-Fledgling, trust-fund
baby, total hag from Hell (and proud of it). She's always been blessed
(if you could call it that) with visions that can reveal the future, but
now it seems Nyx has decided to speak through her with the goddess's own
voice, whether she wants it or not. Aphrodite's loyalty can swing a lot
of different ways, but right now Zoey's fate hangs in the balance.

Three girls... playing with fire... if they don't watch out, everyone
will get Burned.

BURNED is done! It's super good and I can't wait for y'all to read it. Yes, the release is April 27th! I don't know when my publisher will start posting stuff, and I also don't know any tour (or movie) updates, but I'll post as soon as I know something.

Happy Full Moon New Year!

Tonight the full moon ushers in the new year! What a wonderful omen! A full moon is an excellent time for completion. I love to finish projects on the night of a full moon, whether they're small, like cleaning a closet (ugh), or major like typing "the end" on a manuscript. Sadly, I won't be finishing BURNED tonight, but I am working on completing a major scene. And there's always a closet that needs cleaning...

Here's hoping the close of this year brings a sense of completion to you, and also an excitement for adventures to come!

There is s much I want to say about this book I don't even know where to begin. First off, I LOVED the Parthenon series and P.C. Cast is quickly becoming my favorite author of all time. I loved her Goddess Summoning series as well, anyway...This book fits in perfectly with the Parthenon series, it is actually set a hundred and some years after Rhiannon. The characters in this book are so vivid and so devoted to their faith it almost makes me jealous, and wish that I could also have that kind of faith in something, anything really. P.C. Cast makes you feel like you are in the book and you are actually there with the people and apart of everything. While reading (even up to 25 hours without sleep) it was like I was watching a movie and you know one of the characters is about to do something stupid and you are yelling at the TV "DON'T GO IN THERE" but they don't listen to you, of course. While reading this book I squealed, I laughed, I cried (yes, I actually did), I yelled, and I absolutely fell head over heels in love with Lochlan. Wow, what a character...I love him, and adore him absolutely. I know I can get an older copy of Brighid's Quest but...I want to wait so my whole series will match the re-release from Mira. I can't get enough, I have to go read the Parthenon series again, just because I don't want to let this world go just quite yet. Oh yes, and P.C. Cast doesn't disappoint, her signature sexy steam is in this book as well.
