I am a 54 year old mother who got "turned on" to the House of Night series by my daughter :) Right now, I am very, very sad!!! I just finished DESTINED, and now I have to wait until October to read HIDDEN :( I never thought I could get into a series about vampyres/paranormal like I have with this series!!! It is ABSOLUTELY GREAT!!! I can't wait until DESTINED is released :) Keep up the great job you two!!!!

Kristin's next event is on 4/17/2012. She's emceeing for the Mental Health Assoc in Tulsa's Youth Speaker Series. This year's guest is author Dave Peltzer. The event will be held at the University of Tulsa's Lorton Performing Arts Center.
After that she'll be appearing 5/12/2012 at a book fair in DeKalb, IL sponsored by the DeKalb City Library. Just google the DeKalb, IL, library and give them a call for more specific info.

And, also, can you please cast people for the HoN movies that look remotely like the descriptions in the books. Don't be like The Hunger Games where nobody looked right and she didn't even get the pin the right way! Gosh.I know sometimes you can't help changing some of it, but don't mess up some of the most important parts! It makes up peoples minds before they read the books. Your books are amazing.

HoNfanclub - I have seen early versions of the cover of HIDDEN. We're working on that right now. It's looking like Zoey will be on the cover. There will also be an inside flap poster and we haven't decided who is going to be on it for sure yet.
Tour questions: right now I'm focusing on writing so I'm not touring. I think we'll be Australia and New Zealand for the HIDDEN tour, but that's not set in stone yet.
I am going to make an appearance at the Phoenix ComicCon the last weekend in May (I'll post more about that soon).
Movie questions are answer in the archive blog post. I don't have anything new about it at this time.
I think the whole gang should be on the inside flap and i cannot wait for hidden im dying i neeeed to read more any suggestions on books that u have also published and what there about,thx :D and again u should totally put the "nerd herd" and the rest of the gang on the inside flap or the front ur choice ur book :)
Hello Ma'am I just got my mother to start reading the HoN books she loves them just as much as I do which is more than any other book I have ever read. She has read the first seven books in three weeks. Thank you and Kristin for creating such an amazing world for us readers to enjoy.
