i read all of the HON books and also goddess of spring books. I like how you put details into your works and i have reccommened them to my friends. I have also see a website called mobamingle.com and in their mobastory section there are alot of talented writers. What kind of advice do you have for young writers out there?

ReplyDeleteUmm I am working on something for you Mrs. Cast and I was wondering where to send it when it is finnished? I remember asking you if it was a good idea to sell Bookmarks that were inspired by HoN and donate the money from them to Street Cats. I am trying to make a rough idea of some. I am not the best drawer in the world and I am not trying to be, I just think it is a great idea. After I finnish my drafts and send the to you maybe you could have one of your amazing artist make a better version of it. It is just an idea for now.
I can't wait to read Burned. I am reading the series all over again to see if I missed something.

ReplyDeletewow! my best friend and I are so hooked on your books we ran around school looking for people that owned the rest a few a few months ago, because we would not wait to go to the store and get them. we just loved them we read all in a little less than a week! now everyone calls us nerds cuse they saw use reading them at lunch. we just laugh and say yeah we're the nerd herd. he-he cant wait till Burned and Awakened. we have count down sheets in our binders lol we're so nerdy. your awesome book even gave us a new slang vocabulary when we're talking in class and everyone will look at us weird because they cant understand us. we really heart you and the HoN series.

Thank you sooo much P.C. for the AH-MAZING House of Night series! I am like, I don't know, in LOVE with your books. I re-read (is there supposed to be a hyphen...?) them before Burned comes out. I re-read them in 2 days because once I start, I am HOOKED!!! I was Zoey for halloween and carried around Betrayed so people might at least get my costume a bit more....Because I am only almost 13, my mom likes to read them before me because they are, well....you know. Haha. I got 2 of my friends hooked too. One of them just got Betrayed earlier today, so I can't wait to be able to have someone to discuss the series with. I read the first chapter of Burned and WOW! So much happens! I got a whole new perspective of Kalona! He really isn't all that bad and I actually feel sort of sorry for him and it made me hate Neferet even more. Good luck on the flood of questions and your writing of Awakened. By the way, you don't need to reply, I know how busy you are, I WOULD be quite happy if you did happen to though. Thanks again.

To be honest, I think the topic regarding vampires has almost turned into hysteria, but I am so pleasantly surprised by your books. They are impossible to put away, and I have to admit i even shed some tears after reading Tempted.

ReplyDeleteLooks like Roger did some very nice "light painting" in that photo. It must have been a very long exposure for him (or whomever the light painter was) to run around you that much. And congrats and staying so still while that was being done. It's a very, very nice affect.

ReplyDeleteI got my preordered copy of Burned straight to my Kindle, and though I tried to drag out reading it, I'm already done one day later. I just could not help myself. I'm going to have to dive into work to distract myself until Awakened, keep up the fantastic work and hopefully I get to come to a HON event near me.

Omg P.C You are amazing! your books are so good :) when i found out back in january that burned was coming out April 27th i wanted to cry and when i told my friend about it she had the same reaction. I love how the books are written and i am in love with Stark <3 I hated Eric from the beginning and i disliked Heath. He is always in the way :P Well anyway i love your books and i hope "Awakened" comes out soon! i dont know if i can wait :P I just started Burned. When you know the date that "Awakened" comes out, please write it on your blog. It would mean the world to me :P

Read the first book last month and spent the rest of that week finishing the others. And I got Burned this morning and just finished it. Can't wait for Awakened to come out. Once I start something I like it's kind of hard for me to put it down. About how long am I going to have to wait for this new one to come out? Not asking for a specific date. ReplyDeleteI loved the Twilight series but I have to say that HoN has surpassed it by miles! I read the first 6, just got Burned (almost finished it, too), and can't wait for the release of Awakened. I would love to see this series in movie form but sure it would never be as good as the books. You have taken vampyres to a whole new level...KUDOS to the Cast Women!

I've recommended all my friends the HoN books, but only my one friend has read them all like moi! The others aren't all that big on reading. Maybe that makes me a dork! But really - the books are awesome - Yesterday I had a mega-bad stomach-ache and I was reading for hours. But then I finished Burned and I was disappointed because I've read all the books in my library and that was the only new one I'd got(me and my friend literally ran to the bookstore last week)!

ReplyDeletei LOVE your series. i read twilight series and i liked to read about vampires, so my friends introduced me to your books. i started reading them about a month ago and already im caught up with eveyone. i got burned the first day it came out and finished the day after. i can;t wait till awakened comes out! i want to see what happens to zoey and stark. i hope they stay together. i really hope zoey doesn't go back to erik. stark is way better for her. although i feel sorry for her because heath died, but i can;t get over the fact that stevie ray went ditched dallas .i thought they were cute together. well i guess she's happy with rephaim(?) well can't wait to see what happens! i hope kalona and neferet get their butt kicked LoL!

OMG I absolutely LOVE your books and can't wait for more I'm DIEING to see when Awakened is coming out and I know it'll be as great as all the rest have been!!! Just wanted to know when the possible release date is I've heard a lot of "January 4th's" but I wanted to make sure so I can make more room on my bookshelf and get another special bookmark for the next one(I've got a special bookmark for every book from Marked to Burned)

ReplyDeleteI know these are 'teen' books and at the bookstore you even have to go to the teen section to buy them but I'm almost 27 (this month) and I own them all so far and have really enjoyed reading them. Jan 4th huh? Hopefully, baby #2 won't show up until at least !an 6th then so I have time to read it or maybe it can accompany me to the hospital. Haha.

I am hearing rumors that the release date of Awakened is going to be January 4th 2011, I was wondering if that was true, or if it was an estimate, or just wrong all together.

But er, I though I saw Awakened in a book store in Italy, I didn't buy it cuz I thought they would be every where (I was on holidays and kinda cut off from Australia so I didn't kow when they were released) but I couldn't find it in France or the UK, so I checked online to find the release in JAN next year! So I'm really confused. Guess I was mistaken, but I know for sure I saw a book by you that wasn't any one in the series I had read before, and the cover design was so similar to the other HoN books... have you written any others that were in the HoN? Sorry, really long question for a really short question, but I just wanna add that Im lovin the parts with Steavie Rea and Rephaim,

I can totally realate to how the characters talk, I love how Zoey isn't always sure of her next move, and I LOVE the twists like Z and Aphrodite becoming friends! Awakened is going to be sooo cool. Right now I have a contract for 12 YA books. If Zoey's story takes more than that to tell - then I'll write more. It all depends on how it unfolds.
it's OMGI need the next book bad (awakened book 8) like what am I going to do on my night shifts NOW with out the house of nights book as I have already finished all the book from 1-7. I soooooo can NOT wait till next year i need it NOW. I am going to find it very very had as I am going to miss Zoey and Stark....

OMG! just finisheed reading Burned!!! SO AWESOME!!!! Im like dying for Awakened to come out!your a awesome writer and I'm hooked on the HoN series. If the HoN series (well some of the books anyway) get turned into a movie i just hope they dont make a bad movie out of it. The series is just plain awesomeness and i dont want the movie ppl to make a bad movie out of a awesome series! Anyway ur awesome, keep writing and CANT WAIT!!!!

I just caught up in less then two weeks on the last three books. Ah oh well guess I gotta wait. Again your books are GREAT! If you need a name for a new character feel free to use mine--Iris lol! It would be great LOL.

I just wanna say I LOVE HoN books,a girl i work with got me started on them...and i CAN'T put them down!!!I started behind her and now i have not only caught up to her but i've read all the books out so far...BURNED was awesome : ) i'm so excited for AWAKENED...i am going to go crazy until all the books have come out if i knew when i started there was going to be 12 books "IF THE RUMORS ARE TRUE...about 12 books" i would've taken my time reading them lol....BUT they are so awesome i wouldn't mind starting them over...

I read somewhere that two will be released in 2010 and one in 2011 but I have not been able to find out what months they will be released. Thanks so much for your amazing books. ReplyDeleteHi Tracey - I'm assuming you're from the UK because all of those books except for Goddess of Legend are already out in the US. GoL will be released in December. The rest of the Goddess Summoning Books will follow beginning with Goddess of the Rose in January. Check with any major UK bookstore and they can give you the schedule for the rest of them.

I am from the US and I have been unable to locate the Goddess of Troy and the Goddess of Camelot books. Are the maybe titled something else over here or is there some place that I can find them that you know of? Sorry for taking up your time but I really must find these books. ReplyDeleteTracey - oh, I understand the confusions. GODDESS OF TROY is titled WARRIOR RISING in the US. WR is available right now. GODDESS OF LEGEND is GODDESS OF CAMELOT, and it'll be released in December.
ReplyDeleteI' from Croatia where are only 4 or 5 books of HON translated, so I read them on english, and I love them...they're so fantastic, I laugh, I cry, I'm getting confused, I'm falling in love, I live that book...I cried so much when Rephaim and Stevie Rae broke up at the end of Burned...everything is going to be ok, but it's not ok for now... :'(

I can't wait!!! I love your books! After reading marked i was hooked! I got the first 6 and finished those in like 2 months, and then I had to wait for 7. It killed me, but as soon as I got it I read it in the first day! Now I have to wait for book 8, and it's killing me!!! I love your books keep writing!
