A salute to Will Rogers H.S. in Tulsa!

The amazing English teachers (Hey there Mrs. Mears, Mr. Pillstrom & Mrs. Smith!) at the beautiful Will Roger High School here in Tulsa have adopted MARKED in their freshmen accelerated reading program - thanks in large part to their brave principal, Mr. Burr. They've integrated the novel as a basis of a unit they teach on prejudice and intolerance. Kristin and I spoke to their classes last Monday and had a blast! So she and I salute the teachers and the kids there, AND we discovered there are tunnels under the school!!! Hummm...possibilities...

  2. Guess what? I dressed up as Zoey for halloween. I even did the crescent moon designs and everything. Oh I was wondering, what are the colors exactly for the moons? I'm just morbidly curious.

And I was Zoey too. Did my best :D. I just put my new photo up for it :D. I was so proud. When I told people they were so interested :D. My friend did the swirls. They are sooo prettyful!

  6. Hi PC Cast! This is off topic, but I was wondering whether or not you or Kristin are participating in NaNoWriMo this year? I am, here is my page if you are at all interested in my synopsis http://www.nanowrimo.org/eng/user/463160 or you can search my username: fantasyseeker

I actually didn't hear about it until 11/9, so I'm a little behind but I will catch up! I'd really like to know y'alls usernames if either of you are participating.

    Have a good week.

  7. Hi Lori!
No, I don't do NaNoWriMo (I'm constantly writing and constantly under unending deadlines), though I think it's a great event. Best of luck to you!

  8. Ugh! I got all attached to a certain new character only to have him fail me MAYBE? I hope he redeems himself in the next book with that bow. :)

Great work, as always. Looking foward to the next one...

  9. Hey Mrs. Cast. How are you? I haven't posted on my blogs for a while because I got grounded, but I wanted to let you know that I did get two of my friends into "marked" and I also was Zoey for halloween, complete with saphire crescent moon and tattoo (they were markers, but oh well.) I loved Marked!!! It's even with Twilight and Maximum Ride.
