My research trip to New Orleans was wonderful! I have Lenobia's story totally outlined. Little hint: most of the action will be set in 1788 in the French Quarter.
I don't have the release date of this novella yet. I just know when I have to turn it in. But my guess is it'll be out early 2012.
It was my first trip to New Orleans and I loved the city! (I think I gained five pounds. Soooo much good food!)
So I'm back in Tulsa now. I'm over the 200 page mark in the DESTINED manuscript and all is well. Wait, let me rephrase that: all is well with me. If you're a HoN character, all might not be well...

Wow, that's really cool! So... I was thinking, you know how Neferet made that Oath with Grandma Redbird? Well, Neferet can't hurt Zoey because of it, so how is she going to kill Zoey? Or maybe the Oath is void because Neferet really isn't a High Priestess of Nyx anymore? Hoping in an answer :)

Your backyard is really beautiful. I'm goin' crazy with all the waiting for Destined, and planing on go to New Orleans at the end of the year, it's such a wonderful city and I really love French culture. Can't wait to read Dragon's and Lenobia's story.

ReplyDeleteMaike - the US cover for DESTINED isn't in finished form yet. The German cover is different than the UK or US versions. I have seen the UK version, though. It is done, so if it's in English it might very well be the UK cover.

ReplyDeleteI hope the cover for DESTINED is either like TEMPTED and has multiple people on it or like the pre-AWAKENED covers and has just a woman on it. . . . I'm not such a huge fan of men with ripping muscles on the covers of books. :-)
