I don't know about y'all, but I'm more than ready for cooler weather! Oklahoma is getting chilly enough at night for me to have a fire in the fireplace in my office! Don't you love the smell of piñon wood? I sure do! As you can see, Superman is standing guard over my treddesk - I better get back to writing REDEEMED! Another T-Town Event!

Hi Guys!
If you're out and about T-Town

Thursday, October 3rd, stop in the Equality Center (621 E. 4th Street, Tulsa, 74120).  I'm the featured artist for their monthly art show.  The exhibit opening will be from 6:00-9:00 pm, but the show will hang all month.  What I've done is transferred my photographs to canvases, and then embellished them with precious stones, crystals, etc., to create a mixed media art form.  Most of the pieces are for sale, and I will be giving away a signed set of all of the HoN books as a door prize!  Oooh!  Hope to see you there!

Guess what?  On Saturday, October 5th, the real Bonnie is going to be in the Tulsa State Fair horse show!  My awesome horse trainer, Angela, is going to show her for me (I'll be there, but I'm writing writing writing - so not getting to ride much right now).  The coolest class she's going to be in will be around noon on Saturday.  It's the draft horse dress up class and Angela is going to be dressed as Lenobia!  It's going to be awesome!  Come cheer Bonnie on!  Hope to see y'all there!

RWA Signing in Atlanta!

Hi Guys!
I'm going to attend the Romance Writers of America's national conference in Atlanta next week (Wednesday, July 17-Saturday, July 20).  The conference itself is something you have to pay to attend (see www.rwa.org for more info), but it opens with a GIANT group signing, with the proceeds going to fight illiteracy.  THE LITERACY SIGNING IS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC!  You can check out the specifics at: www.rwa.org/literacy.

Through my cool horse trainer I found the amazing artist, Dorota Kudyba (www.dorotakudyba.com).  She does equine dream art from photographs.  I commissioned her to do several pieces for me, and I thought you guys would like to see some of them.  Here's the first of Anjo and me.  I asked Dorota to make me a Valkyrie-like warrior.  Ooooh!  What do you guys think?

p.s. Dorota is wonderful to work with, and very reasonably priced.  And it's soooo fun to see her transform your photos!  You guys should definitely check her out!  (It's a great gift idea!)

REVEALED is finished!

Yea! I turned in REVEALED today! (Release date is October 15th.) I absolutely love how this book developed - it even surprised me! I'm moving directly into the writing of REDEEMED. I'm so caught up in the conclusion of the series that the last two books are flowing unusually well (even at the beginning!). Back to work for me... XXXOOO PC

Moving into the conclusion...

This weekend is Mayfest in Tulsa - a fabulous downtown gathering of artists, musicians, and food. I was walking around last night and glanced up at the Mayo Hotel. CHECK OUT NEFERET'S PENTHOUSE! Looks creepy! And since I'm working on the conclusion of REVEALED right now, this picture absolutely goes with the mood of the end of the book. Chaos! Death! Destruction! Oooooh! Ooooh! A Prism Finalist!

I'm so excited to announce that my novella, POSSESSED, which was published in the AFTER MOONRISE duology with my buddy, Gena Showalter, has finaled in the fabulous Prism Award! What a lovely surprise! Winners will be announced at the Romance Writers of America National Convention in Atlanta in July of this year. I haven't been to RWA Nationals in years, but I'm going to try to get enough writing done so that I can get away for that weekend in July! Fun! See you in Hotlanta!

A New Girl!

Hi Guys, Longtime fans know that I've had two Scottie dogs FOREVER. The fabulous Cammyman - my Wheaton Scottie who loves the camera and the ocean and "helps" me write all my books. You can check out the Cammy Cam in my archives. (In the HON series he's Damien's cat!) My other Scottie was less photogenic but equally wonderful. Her name was Chloe Cast, better known as Clo-clo-ba-bo. Tragically, my precious girl died unexpectedly in February. Following HoN tradition, I turned Chloe into a vampyre's cat and immortalized her in REVEALED. Yes, you'll need major Kleenexes to read that part - I certainly did to write it! She also has a major character role in one of my Goddess Summoning Books, GODDESS OF LOVE. Yes! Chloe did think she was a cat! And a lovely cat at that... Recently Cammyman and I decided we were ready to welcome another Scottie into our lives! So, I'd like to officially introduce my readers and friends to Claire Bear! She found her forever home with us yesterday. She seems more photogenic than Chloe, so you may be seeing a Claire Cam as well as a Cammy Cam in the future. Sending out love and light to all of you who have lost a beloved pet... PC

Spring in OK

It's becoming a lovely spring in Oklahoma. My wisteria are blooming like crazy - the red buds and dogwoods, azaleas, tulips and narcissus have painted the city with color. It's a perfect time to visit Utica Square and Philbrook and Woodward Park. Just keep an eye out for Neferet! Rumor has it she's on the loose! Back to REVEALED... XXXOOO PC

Kristin and I are in the city that never sleeps for a quick, fun trip - meeting with our fab agent, our favorite editors, and (OF COURSE!) our St. Martin's HoN family. The weather is cool but beautiful. LOVE CENTRAL PARK! XXXOOO PC

With the beginning of the new year I've begun HoN book 11, REVEALED! (No, I don't have a publication date for it yet - I won't turn it in until early summer. Then it takes several months to go through the editing/publication process.) Movie update: check my blog archive for the latest. I'll post there. Get ready for lots of news this year! (Again, Kristin and I are not in charge of the casting. You'll need to educate yourself about the business of acting, get an agent, etc. I will post if/when there are open casting calls, though.) And, finally, King Kong and Khaleesi have a new playmate, Miss Grace Kelly. She's exactly their age (6 months old), and she's giving Cammy a break from their puppy playfulness. Cammy says he's too old for such nonsense... Wishing you all the best for 2013! PC
