Yes, the series has been optioned by Davis Films of the Resident Evil franchise for more than two years. I AM WAITING IMPATIENTLY ALONG WITH MY FANS, so refer all of your frustration, questions, casting choices, dreams and wishes for what could be total awesomesauce if, as Stevie Rae would say, "The dang things ever get made!" to my producer, Samuel Hadida. HoN Candles are awesomesauce!

Longtime fans will know from interviews (and probably from talking to me at signings!) that one of the ways I create positive energy in my writing space is with candles. My ex-students (WAVING TO ALL MY EX-KIDS!) can tell you I always had a candle lit in my classroom, even when The Administration at SIHS (ugh) didn't appreciate my attempt to create positive energy in a high school classroom. So you can understand how excited I am to announce that TODAY on Amazon the first of the House of Night candle collection is available! I have partnered with a good friend of mine, a local business owner in Tulsa, and we are creating magick with candles! The first five available are beautiful ritual pillars! Each has a symbolic design inspired by the HoN and drawn by my good friend and tattoo artist, Aura Dalian. (Aura is also illustrating KALONA'S FALL!) The pillars are infused with essential oils chosen by me to represent the five elements, air, fire, water, earth, and spirit. I hope you heart them as much as I do! And stay tuned, there will be more awesome HoN inspired candles to come! p.s. I've signed bookplates and included them with each of the sets! Oooooh!

Cayman house open for your vacay! Oooooh!

As longtime fans know, I consider Grand Cayman Island a second home. Kristin and I have been going there for twenty years - back when we had to save our pennies to share a tiny hotel room for 4 days and eat sandwiches from Hurley's (Cayman grocery store). As the years passed, I purchased a lovely home on the beach in Cayman, and since then have spent lots of time there. I've been trying to remember how many books I finished while I was looking out at the turquoise Caribbean (and watching Cammy trying to swim to Jamaica), and I think the number is four! Anyway, I've been so busy that I don't get to Cayman as much as I would like to, so recently I decided to open my amazing home as a vacation rental. I don't know about y'all, but I'm more than ready for cooler weather! Oklahoma is getting chilly enough at night for me to have a fire in the fireplace in my office! Bonnie update!

Well, since the draft horse classes are short at the fair this year, Bonnie's big costume class is probably going to go off early.  So if you plan to cheer her on, be at the show barn about 9:00ish.  I'll be scrambling not to miss her!!

Another T-Town Event!

Hi Guys!
If you're out and about T-Town

Thursday, October 3rd, stop in the Equality Center (621 E. 4th Street, Tulsa, 74120).  I'm the featured artist for their monthly art show.  The exhibit opening will be from 6:00-9:00 pm, but the show will hang all month.  What I've done is transferred my photographs to canvases, and then embellished them with precious stones, crystals, etc., to create a mixed media art form.  Most of the pieces are for sale, and I will be giving away a signed set of all of the HoN books as a door prize!  Oooh!  Hope to see you there!

Hi Guys!
Guess what?  On Saturday, October 5th, the real Bonnie is going to be in the Tulsa State Fair horse show!  My awesome horse trainer, Angela, is going to show her for me (I'll be there, but I'm writing writing writing - so not getting to ride much right now).  The coolest class she's going to be in will be around noon on Saturday.  It's the draft horse dress up class and Angela is going to be dressed as Lenobia!  It's going to be awesome!  Come cheer Bonnie on!  Hope to see y'all there!
