You bet!
Good gravy!!!!, I was pronouncing Cu's name as gads ...(pink cheeks here)
Cue-choo-lane and
Brighed as
Bridge-id and Elphame as
Elf- fam-ay
Oh, I'm bad, bad, bad
Thank you for pointing me onto the right path!!!!!!!
I think that little fomorian child can't be any more confused than I am with mispronounciation ....all we can do is try, right?
OOoooh, thanks for thinking the glossary is a good idea! Even if you missed squeezing it into your current book, your blog is a wonderful little helper. I'm so glad I popped in today. *grin*
Oh, so when everyone shortens his name they are calling him Coo? That's adorable! I was calling him Cue as in cue-ball. Picture my head hanging down, shaking side to side *sigh* - like I said , "challenged".Michelehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08573730655117969888noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12075193.post-1119037162007341602005-06-17T12:39:00.000-07:002005-06-17T12:39:00.000-07:00Michele - adding a glossery to the book with name ...Michele - adding a glossery to the book with name pronunciations is an excellent idea! If it's not too late I'll see if they can do that for Brighid. If not, I'll be sure to get something for Divine by Mistake. For Cuchulainn the most widly accepted pronunciation is Coo-hoo-lin. Brighid is Brighit, just spell the old way. Elphame is L-fame. Does that help?

Regarding Cu and Brighid - of course they'll fall in love! I promised you guys that Cu would get a HEA. But it won't be easy (I mean, she can't even shapeshift and his soul has been shattered by Brenna's loss).

And the children! You just wait. There's one boy who seriously believes he's a centaur Huntress. Brighid says that makes him species and gender confused.

PCPC Casthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18445701723999919409noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12075193.post-1119011926371396162005-06-17T05:38:00.000-07:002005-06-17T05:38:00.000-07:00I can tell I'm going to love this book as much as ...I can tell I'm going to love this book as much as I did Elphame's Choice :) That's a great excerpt!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-12075193.post-1119010698607398012005-06-17T05:18:00.000-07:002005-06-17T05:18:00.000-07:00ROTFL!!!!I can just see her eyes crossing trying ...ROTFL!!!!
I can just see her eyes crossing trying to figure a way out of there.
