What a gorgeous day!

For those of you who aren't Okies, let me tell ya - it's been raining here like crazy the past few days. Well, thunderstorms and torrential downpours, actually. But today the rain blew away and the sun came out (with the mosquitoes, but let's not think about that). It was one of those beautiful Oklahoma days - not too hot, humid, and miserable, but with a lot of sun and billowy clouds. So Kristin and I took my Scotties and her two terrible beasts, my granddogs, Anna Nicole Smith Cast and Marlon Brando Cast, for a long walk around sunset down Riverside along the Arkansas River. It was so gorgeous I had to snap a picture with my lovely iphone and share. Enjoy!

Gorgeous picture! And I know what you mean but I'm not an okie :( Here in Stonewall(Next to Winnipeg), Manitoba, it was a really cold and rainy summer which is unusual and now it is getting really hot. It's really weird but we've also had a blizzard day at the end of May:P It's been raining so much too so now it's drenched! Oh! And I'm listening to Kenny Chesney right now and I've gotta say, I love Stevie Rae's taste in music!

Heey mrs cast! Wow that pic is awesomee! Yet i still prefer cloudy/rainy days :3.

I have siomething veeeery important to tell you but before that i should say "yesss i do know you have nothing to do with the actors and tjeir casting/election for the movie/series or either if they will be
Made" BUUUUT i really should say that theres this incredibly sexy british actor that took my breath away! In my opinion he'd make a GREAT erick night!! His name is Nicholas Houltand he is best known for his role in the (very crazy and sexual i should say xD) series "Skins". For it either may help or not, just check him out please ;) Trust me, you wont regret it! ;D

Greetings allthe way from mexico :)

gorgeous picture! I wanted to ask you a question but I can't find your e-mail... I am rereading the House of Night books in preparation for the new one (yay!) I was wondering, though, where the school gets its money? It doesn't seem like the kids pay tuition, and with a bunch of their students dying before they would be adults who could donate to the school, I'm wondering how all the food is paid for and the profs, etc. Love love love the books!!

Elizabeth - the kids don't pay tuition, etc. The vamp community is wealthy and supports the House of Night system. No worries on the money issues.

I love the photo. We've had the same weather in TN.
I just wanted to say that I started reading your Goddess of the Rose book and the fact that you mentioned Wilbur Smith made smile this morning. Before I was introduced to you and Kelley Armstrong I only ever read historical fiction and he was one of my favorites, along with Ken Follett.
Thanks for helping to start my day out with a smile, even if it wasn't intended. =)

Hi Heather - my fabulous dad introduced me to Wilbur Smith was I was in my early 20s. I love his work! Glad that the mention made you smile! I think GODDESS OF THE ROSE is my favorite Goddess Summoning Book. I adore the Beauty and the Beast mythos. Let me know what you think when you've finished!

I loved it. I think Goddess of Light was my favorite. Maybe it's because I was married at Caesars in one of the gardens and I have a soft spot for Apollo. Although, I have to say "Batman" was great too. =) I enjoyed them all so thank you for keeping me entertained. Much better than Edith Hamilton...
My cat is butting my hands away from the keys since he's wanting attention so I must oblige. I hope to be able to see you in ATL.
