A new series!

Hi guys! Happy Memorial Day weekend! I know a bunch of you have finally been released from school - so yea to you AND your amazing teachers.

I thought I'd give you a heads up about a new series I've been involved in. It's for Harlequin's Nocturne imprint, which means it'll be super cool paranormal romance. It's not YA, but it's also not graphically sexual, so I'd say it's fine for my older teen fans on up. Here's the really unique part of the series - the idea for the books was thought up and written exclusively by women authors who have also served in our armed forces. Some of you know I was active duty Air Force back in the day, so I'm really proud to be included in this project. The series leads off with four books, beginning with the first release in August, THE SEEKER by Lindsay McKenna. In September Cindy Dees' THE SLAYER will be released, and in October my book, THE AVENGER, will be out. The final book, by my good friend Merline Lovelace, THE PROTECTOR, releases. The series has danger and time travel and a whole we-have-to-save-the-world theme. I'll post my cover as soon as I have it. In the meantime you guys can check out more about all four fantastic books at: www.timeraidersseries.com.

I heart you guys!
PC

They sound awesome. I can't wait.
I also wish I could see you on GMA but I will be sleeping in really late because it's summer!

Eriin - your comment made me laugh because I was just thinking that I needed to remember to send out a big "hi guys!" to my ex-students, but none of them would be awake to hear it!

Thank for the heads up about the new series! Sounds great!! (still wishing for Goddess of Camelot!) Hope you enjoyed your lovely tropical break, and came back tanned and recharged!

Don't worry, Ang - GODDESS OF CAMELOT will be out in 2010 for sure. I'll let you know the release month as soon as I get it.

Hi, Everyone -- Hope you're having a good Memorial Day. Like PC, I'm so jazzed about our Time Raiders series. We got to send our characters back to really fascinating times. Hope y'all enjoy the series.

Thank you for your kindness at Borders. I am so glad to have gotten the chance to meet both you and your daughter. You are both very personable and kind. It's nice to see that you have remained intact throughout this whirlwind. I think that you have officially reawakened Tulsa for me and, I hope that this will mean something for our Oklahoma in general. You are very brilliant. I know that it took you a lot of hard work to come up with everything that you have written and I must tell you that I am so impressed. Can't wait to dive into the new series. Trisha Johnson BA

Thanks for your help at Borders. I am glad to have met you and your lovely daughter. I'm happy that you have taken off. It means good things for you and once again for Oklahoma. I Love your House of Night Series. I asked you about romance but I didn't specify that I meant vampire romance for adults. I read a lot of Lyndsay Sands and I can't wait to see what you can do with that. I am impressed with what you've done so far. I just know that there is such a huge market for that. I am an avid reader of everything vampire...so you know that you have at least one person in the market. Trisha Johnson BA

I saw you and your daughter in Tulsa at Borders. It was so wonderful to actually meet both of you. You all make a very great team.

I saw a news crew there. When are they supposed to air the segment about you all?

Ron

Oh, time travel? Sounds kinda steampunky, which is right up my alley.

Is each book about a different character? Or do they all revolve around just one?

Kristine - Rachael Ray in Norway? Seriously? Huh.

GreyDragon - That was a film crew from ABC's Nightline. They were filming the book event as part of a feature on Kristin and me. It'll air this coming Thursday night. Thanks for coming to our party!

JT - each book has a different heroine and hero. Go to the website for details. I'll post my cover and stuff about my book as we get closer to October. Weird that I have two books coming out in the same month...

I just think it is so cool that you are writing about Queen Boudicca! She is one of my favorite women in history--I actually have a video game character named after her. LOL Seriously though, I will be anxiously awaiting. I unfortunately/fortunately only discovered your work, PC, a little less than a year ago and I've just about plowed through all I could find. :) I love how you portray your female characters: strong, smart and independent but still vulnerable. I cannot wait to get a hold of the rest of your stuff, as well as all the new ones you have coming out! Good luck to you!
Blessed be,

This is an awesome concept! I love it and I love that it was done by a bunch of vets. I will definitely check this series out. Being married to the military, my hubby is USAF, I love supporting vets. More than that, I absolutely love your HoN series and your writing style. I look forward to reading this new series and discovering some new authors as well. :)
