Valentine's Day...romance or...or...retching?

So...today I started writing my next Goddess Summoning Book. It'll be the 5th one in the series, and it's titled GODDESS OF LOVE. I thought it was appropriate to literally begin it on Valentine's Day. I mean, please. Valentine's Day = Romance. Right? Well...Okay, I'm not complaining but currently I'm BM. No, that doesn't mean bowl movement. That means I'm - for the moment - Between Men. (Unfortunately I don't mean that literally. Talk about an interesting Valentine's Day...) Anyway, I got a lovely flower from one of my favorite students. Yep. A 16 year old. Uh, no. That really doesn't count as a romantic present - sweet, but NOT romantic. What would I really like today?? I browsed for a while and found the perfect gift for a woman BM - BATMAN! Yes yes yes. I do have a soft spot (actually, several of them) for The Dark Knight.

But, seriously (not that I'm not serious about Batman). What did y'all get for V Day? Was it romance or retching?

Back to GODDESS OF LOVE. Yes, I can appreciate the irony.

What about Brad Pitt dressed as Batman? The Dark Knight who wants to introduce you to his night prowler. . .

My husband and I got matching gifts: big steaming piles of nothing. We've stopped buying each other gifts. Maybe next year I'll ask for something.

Oh, please. Just remind your husband about our "pillow fight," complete with heaving breasts, and I'll bet you get something for V Day. Just hope it's not little.

Okay, I will take Brad as The Dark Knight. Thanks, girlfriend.

Well if we are going with the super hero theme, I'd like to have Hugh Jackman dressed as Wolverine tied up in a bow and delivered to me.:-) YUM!

Hey if it's just fantasy Superman can be as romantic or exciting as you want Heather. Personally, I think Clark Kent is very sexy. Just something about those nerdy guys. When they cut loose, they REALLY cut loose.

Well, ladies, I don't really like dorks (with the exception of Clark Kent, and that's only because I know there lurks a superhero under the dorkiness). I'm an ex-military girl - macho men WITH BRAINS do it for me. Actually, I've lately been reminded how very much I like marines...or at least one special marine.

Jess - Lately I'm kinda in the mood to tied the dark, brooding hero up myself and do a little...flogging...

Well, hell. I mean "tie" the guy up. Jeesh.
